On last May 29th Gewiss Headquarter hosted the final act of Call4Sustainability, the initiative created to gather innovative proposals related to the circular economy and the promotion of sustainable behaviors in everyday life.

The closing event saw a real Pitch Day, where five selected teams presented their ideas to the competition jury.

The winning projects were the Gewiss Car Pooling App (with the claim don't be a looser, be a car pooler) and Back to the Origins (accompanied by the claim Gewiss Way to add value to the plastic process waste), which ranked first and second respectively.

Both winning teams chose to donate the prize received to projects that support the reconstruction of flooded areas in the Emilia Romagna region.

The individual contributions are certainly an important help in shaping the future of our organization. All of the finalist ideas will be further examined in the coming months to assess their actual implementation and effectiveness."

The level of creativity, commitment, and passion shown by all participants can only confirm the importance of the themes of innovation and sustainability for the entire Gewiss and Performance in Lighting family, and all of this further spurs us on to move forward on our journey”.
