"Luigi Bergamelli" Youth Club Sports Field

DESCRIPTION

The historic football club ‘Unione Sportiva Scanzorosciate’ in the province of Bergamo, has joined the Football Innovation project, re-lighting its main training pitch. This installation features 28 Smart [PRO] LED fixtures, which save about 26,400 kWh and 14 tons of CO₂ every year. This is a gain for the club, in clean energy as well as costs.

The A.S.D. Brioschese is third division team from Brianza, Italy, with a great passion for sport. The main pitch, just outside the region of Briosco, set among woods and fields, is lit with 20 Smart [PRO] sports floodlights. The GEWISS fittings, installed as part of the team’s participation in GEWISS’ ‘Football Innovation’ project, guarantee wide, bright coverage and consistency over the entire pitch, as well as safety and efficiency in any weather.

"Ciamaor" Sports Centre

Marebbe (or Mareo in the local language, Ladin) is a town in the province of Bolzano, with around 3,000 inhabitants. It sits at the foot of the famous Plan de Corones ski area. The lighting of Ciamaor sports centre was fully replaced by the team at Digital Sport Innovation, a platform offering integrated services to make any sports facility safer, more modern and efficient. The main pitch was fitted with 44 Smart [PRO] 2-module floodlights, with innovative LED technology offering constant, evenly distributed lighting in any weather.

''Angelo Quarenghi'' Municipal Stadium

On the San Pellegrino pitch, the previous midfield lighting only emitted 50 lux of light, while near the corners, this level was just 30 lux. After installing seven twomodule Smart [PRO] led devices, a much more uniform lighting result was achieved, with a more realistic light quality. The end result: the amount of light across the entire surface of the pitch has been tripled, and energy consumption has been slashed by two thirds.
