2024 saw the return of the GEWISS Sustainability Journey, the ambitious project dedicated to sustainability that began in July and will continue until December. After the great success of last year’s events, GEWISS has expanded its initiative with a new, very rich carnet of workshops and conferences both in person and online, which in July and September alone involved four company locations with in-person events: the Cenate Sotto (BG) headquarters, the Calcinate (BG) logistics hub, the Penafiel plant in Portugal and the Performance iN Lighting plant in Colognola ai Colli (VR).

Other plants will be holding in-person courses during the coming months, accompanied by numerous online workshops intended for all the people of the GEWISS Group.

The 2024 Sustainability Journey program is structured around the 3P recipe: People, Products and Processes.

The People theme focuses on health, well-being, self-care and care for others, diversity and inclusion. Products addresses crucial issues such as the environmental impact of products and conscious consumption, with a special focus on the most effective ways to avoid greenwashing, the deceptive practice of promoting products and policies as sustainable without actually being so. Finally, the Processes theme allows for an in-depth look at critical topics such as the circular economy, waste reduction and safety at work.

The journey towards sustainability is an ongoing one that must be undertaken together: in this perspective, the GEWISS Sustainability Journey confirms itself as an essential opportunity to promote common growth and progress towards a more virtuous future, consolidating the Group's ongoing commitment to innovation and social responsibility.
