Castiglione del Lago is a town in Umbria with around 15,000 inhabitants. The local Silvio Piola Sports Centre is the home of SF Castiglione del Lago A.S.D. - an amateur football club for schools and young people, from toddlers to regional Under 17 teams. Gewiss’ Digital Sport Innovation team contributed to the full renovation the sports centre’s lighting, in particular the main football pitch, installing 32 Smart [PRO] LED floodlights.

Lograto is a small town on the Brescia plains in a rural setting in the Po river valley. The football pitch at the San Filippo Neri Youth Club is home to the first team of A.C. Oratorio Lograto, which plays in the third provincial division. Digital Sport Innovation helped replace the entire lighting system at San Filippo Neri, installing 26 Smart [PRO] LED floodlights that provide over 50% energy savings per year on pitch lighting for the youth club.

"Luigi Bergamelli" Youth Club Sports Field
The historic football club ‘Unione Sportiva Scanzorosciate’ in the province of Bergamo, has joined the Football Innovation project, re-lighting its main training pitch. This installation features 28 Smart [PRO] LED fixtures, which save about 26,400 kWh and 14 tons of CO₂ every year. This is a gain for the club, in clean energy as well as costs.

''Angelo Quarenghi'' Municipal Stadium
On the San Pellegrino pitch, the previous midfield lighting only emitted 50 lux of light, while near the corners, this level was just 30 lux. After installing seven twomodule Smart [PRO] led devices, a much more uniform lighting result was achieved, with a more realistic light quality. The end result: the amount of light across the entire surface of the pitch has been tripled, and energy consumption has been slashed by two thirds.
