Castiglione del Lago is a town in Umbria with around 15,000 inhabitants. The local Silvio Piola Sports Centre is the home of SF Castiglione del Lago A.S.D. - an amateur football club for schools and young people, from toddlers to regional Under 17 teams. Gewiss’ Digital Sport Innovation team contributed to the full renovation the sports centre’s lighting, in particular the main football pitch, installing 32 Smart [PRO] LED floodlights.

On 4th May 2018 the official opening ceremony took place, of the Paride Tilesi Stadium in Amatrice, which had been completely restored after a major earthquake two years earlier. GEWISS, in collaboration with Corus and as part of the Digital Sport Innovation project, was directly involved in the renovation of the lighting system, supplying (with special agreements) all the material needed to overhaul the electrical and lighting system, including energy management solutions and providing 56 Smart [PRO] floodlights with LED technology.

Girasole is a small coastal town in Ogliastra, in central-eastern Sardinia. The island's town is set apart from the sea by the Tortolì lake, a local wildlife area, an attractive setting for the Municipal Stadium "Sa Suergera". The stadium’s pitch has recently had a new lighting system by GEWISS installed, 32 Smart [PRO] 2 LED module floodlights, which provide excellent and uniform light in any weather conditions.
